Fitness Testing Night is Monday, January 30, 2023

The next regular training night is Monday, January 30 at St Marguerite d’Youville Secondary School. Dress for cadets is Physical Fitness clothing.

Cadets are reminded that training begins promptly at 1800hrs so make sure to arrive on time for opening parade. Entry and exit is through the rear school doors only. Doors are locked after 1830hrs, if you are planning to arrive late, please notify the AdminO by email in advance so that someone is present to grant you entry.

2023 Winter NCO Training Course – Jan 28

All Level 4 and 5 Cadets will attend this mandatory one-day training course at the Squadron Headquarters focusing on drill, dress and deportment, leadership and duties and responsibilities of a senior NCO. Dress of the day is C5 (Field Training Uniform), lunch will be provided.

Drill Team – Tuesday Nights 1900-2100hrs at BFC

The 892 Snowy Owl Drill Team continues, Tuesday nights from 7-9pm at the Squadron Headquarters at the Brampton Flying Club. All cadets are welcome to participate, as members learn advanced ceremonial drill maneuvers and practice in a competitive drill routine together. An inter-squadron drill competition will take place in Spring 2023.

Multi-unit Band Registration

892 Snowy Owl will be participating this year in a multi-unit brass and reed military band led by 756 Wild Goose Squadron. Band practices will be held on Thursday nights at St. Andrew’s United Church, Georgetown from 1930-2100hrs, beginning January 2023.

Participation is open to cadets of all training levels and ranks but MUST have previous musical experience. Interested cadets must complete the sign-up form below:
